Environmentally Friendly Medication Disposal

Free as a community service!

 In response to news about the presence of pharmaceuticals contaminating the water supply and teenage abuse of prescription drugs, PeopleFirst Pharmacy is now offering a medication disposal program to help the community dispose of unused, unwanted or expired medications.

Just bring your unused, unwanted or expired prescription and over-the-counter medications in the original containers to PeopleFirst Pharmacy at 2501 E. Hebron Parkway, Carrollton, TX 75010, located between Marsh and Marsh Ridge. Items we can accept are:

- tablets
- capsules
- liquids (oral, eye, ear and topical)
- inhalers
- injectable medication
- patches
- creams/lotions/ointments
- suppositories
- sprays

Items we cannot accept through this program are:

- needles
- syringes
- durable medical equipment products
- health and beauty products
- controlled substances; however, since most packaging does not distinguish between controlled and non-controlled substances, we invite you to bring any medications so that we can tell you what is controlled and how to dispose of it properly.
